Hi! I’m Chas and welcome to my first ever blog with Jedbaby. JED are the initials of my two young and energetic boys- Jacob and Elijah, with the “D” being the first initial of our last name. I am a mother, wife, teacher, and an entrepreneur. Before I jump right into my first ever blog topic, As part of my disclaimer, I’d like to share with everyone that all of my thoughts, ideas, experiences, and so forth are that of my own. I am not a professional in the field of child rearing, nor do I have the credentials and certifications in child development. The contents in my blogs are primarily based on my own thoughts and experiences as a mother. There will also be times when I will state my opinions, suggestions, and so forth about teaching and learning. This is because, let’s face it…many teachers love to talk about work and I am in no way any different from that group of individuals.
The main purpose of my interest in starting a blog series is to firstly, somehow reach out to a greater audience to inform you all that you are not alone in your journey as a parent. I believe that all parents at times have similar experiences in many different situations. Secondly, to let you know that there are people out there who are constantly questioning and searching for answers to SO. MANY. THINGS. I understand, as I am one of those parents. There is not a day that goes by when I am not on the web trying to figure out or learn more about a certain situation- whether it be about motherhood, kids, or teaching my students. I also have worked with so many parents who are also on a quest for answers regarding parenthood and/or their child or children. I hope you find some of my content useful or entertaining.
